Yes, fun - games - devotions and feedback, encouragement of each other as we make our journey or trip with the Lord. The trip has been paid for by the blood of Jesus and if we stay true to our travels with the Lord are final destination is eternity in heaven with Him forever and evermore.

The month of November relfects two holdidays: Veterans Day and Thanksgiving. I am thankful for the men and women in our armed forces, past, present and future. 

Thanksgiving:

1. the act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgment of benefits or favors, especially to God.
2. an expression of thanks, especially to God.
3. a public celebration in acknowledgmennt of divine favor or kindness.
4. a day set apart for give thanks to God.
5. (initial capital letter) Thanksgiving Day.

Even in the dictionary means 4 out of 5 gives credit either in ackowleging or directly giving thankgiving to God.

This Thanksgivings hold a very special place in my heart. Ten months ago (today: Novemeber 24th, 2008) my wife took me to the doctor and from the doctor's office to the hospital. Shortly thereafter they told her that I was in bad shape; aspirating pneumonia and they didn't know if I would live through the night. I was already beginning to turn dark from above my kness to the soles of my feet. My pastor and his wife came and offered up prayer and the Lord begin to change things. However in the wee hours in the morning another attack took place. They placed a c-pack on me and straight oxygen to provide oxygen to my lungs and blood, the next step life suppport however our creator, the God whom I serve touched my body and things turned around. He wasn't done ith me here upon this earth.
